WP/DP system

A multiuser word processing system which operates in timesharing environment. With the system, users can easily prepare a wide variety of documents, such as letters, reports, contracts, and technical material. The system allows the user to interactively create, edit, and print documents. Users may also check a document for spelling errors, as well as selectively merge text information, such as names and addresses with a basic letter. Some systems include features that provide for the integration of word processing and data processing.
